These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and ImageConverter ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the ImageConverter mobile application ("App").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
ImageConverter is a mobile application that provides image format conversion and compression services, including but not limited to:
All core functionality is performed locally on your device. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features at any time.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
This license does not include any right to sublicense, resell, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App.
You agree not to:
The App and all of its original content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to its design, code, algorithms, graphics, logos, and trademarks — are owned by ImageConverter and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
The ImageConverter name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of ImageConverter. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.
Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you beyond the limited license described in Section 3.
You retain full ownership of all images and content you process through the App. Since all processing occurs on-device:
You agree to indemnify and hold ImageConverter harmless from any claims arising from content you process using the App.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any content within the App. Use of the App is at your sole risk.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ImageConverter AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your license to use the App at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling and deleting the App from your devices.
Upon termination, all license rights granted to you cease immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, and Limitation of Liability) shall survive.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through an in-app notification or by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
