ImageConverter is designed with privacy-first principles. We collect minimal data necessary to provide and improve the app experience.

Information you provide: When you contact our support team, we may collect your name and email address.

Automatically collected data: We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage analytics such as:

• App crash reports and error logs (no personal data attached)
• General feature usage statistics (which formats are most used)
• Device type, OS version, and app version for compatibility purposes

We never collect personally identifiable information without your explicit consent.

2 How We Use Your Information

Any information we collect is used solely for the following purposes:

• Providing, maintaining, and improving the app's functionality
• Diagnosing technical issues and fixing bugs

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your data to outside parties for any commercial purpose.

3 Image & Photo Data

ImageConverter requires access to your device's photo library and file storage to perform conversions and compressions. This access is:

• Local only: All processing occurs on your device using native mobile capabilities.
• Non-transmitting: Your images are never sent over a network connection to any server.
• Permission-based: We only access photos you explicitly select through the app interface.
• Temporary: We do not retain copies of your images beyond the active conversion session.

You can revoke photo library access at any time through your device's Settings app.

4 Third-Party Services

The app may use limited third-party services for analytics and crash reporting only:

• Firebase Crashlytics: For anonymous crash reporting. No images or personal data are shared.
• App Store / Google Play: Subject to Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies for distribution and purchase processing.

These third parties are contractually prohibited from using any data for their own purposes beyond providing the stated services.

5 Data Storage & Security

Since minimal data is collected, minimal storage is required. The anonymous analytics data we collect is stored on secured servers with industry-standard encryption.

Converted output files are saved only to your device's local storage or a location you specify. We have no access to these files after conversion is complete.

6 Children's Privacy

ImageConverter is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.

7 Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (e.g., contact records).
• Opt-out: Disable anonymous analytics collection in the app's Settings.
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
